Here is a more updated calibration that I just finished. This was with a combination of the AVS HD disc and GCD disc. You'll notice that this was a revision of one I never posted. Color accuracy is much better on this one.

Should add that all video processing options are set to off, and gamma is set to 2.2 and black level is light.

Hi Sammie2980.

Just to say thanks for posting your settings and results. I thought I had done a good job of setting the picture, until I put your settings in. Truly amazing picture and a mile away from what I had. Watched Man of steel last night. Wow. I have a Euro set, so I do not understand the black level setting being set to light? However the blacks looks amazing. I have yet to input the settings into the 3d input, I am sure they will be better than the THX.

Thanks again

Wink ZT60 Settings

Hi Sammie2980.

Just to say thanks for posting your settings and results. I thought I had done a good job of setting the picture, until I put your settings in. Truly amazing picture and a mile away from what I had. Watched Man of steel last night. Wow.

I have a Euro set, so I do not understand the black level setting being set to light? However the blacks looks amazing. The panel is so bright now without washing the screen out and effecting depth. It makes playing games amazing.

I have yet to input the settings into the 3d input, I am sure they will be better than the THX. Have you tried them for 3D?

Thanks again

Thank you I appreciate it. I have a different set of settings I have for 3D. though I never got around to posting them. As I didn't think they would carry over to others displays well. I may end up posting them at some point though. just have yet to get around to it as it has been a pretty busy time for me as of late.

Default TC-P60ZT60 Settings

Hi,

I just got my TC-P50ZT60 and would like to try your settings. When I open the zip file, I seem to get xml contents that seems to have no style sheet, so a bit difficult to interpret. Any suggestions and/or did you start with a preset picture mode or pro?

Thank you.

Default Loading Setting

Hi,

I'm obviously naive here. I was thinking that I could manually load these settings? Do I require some sort of system or can it be done that way. I do have internet up and running with a fast wi-fi connection.

Thank you.

Hi,

I am wondering, since my cable service is only 1080i and realizing that many networks don't even broadcast that for HD, if someone has done a cal for a Panasonic TC-P60ZT60 and can provide a settings file to use with Controlcal for other than 1080p and/or would it make a difference? I've got 200 hours of running slides and note that settings files want 1080p enabled which won't happen on the unit if input source is not 1080P

Thank you.

Default Sammie ZT60 Settings

Hi,

I would like to try your latest ZT60 settings (no 3D needed). I see a 6-16-2013 zip file, but indicates password needed to extract. Anyway to get these or should you have later ones if improved? Thanks!

I responded to your PM. Use 6/16. Remember settings don't always transfer over 100% as displays are not going to be 100% the same. I would suggest you try t hese and some others on here as some may work better for you then others.

There isn't a password on the zip you should just be able to download it and open it up and get the xml file. Did you get controlcal yet? This will make your life much easier if you do that way you can just load up the various files on the site and try them out.
